[Pre-Order] A Deal in Death (Immortal Desires Series) by Jaclyn Rodriguez (Hardcover Deluxe)

Rune Ryker has incredible power, but she’s sacrificed almost everything for it. Reeling from the events of the past semester at the Forge, she continues her training in tarot magic with Prince Draven. They’re united in their goal: Take over the Immortal Realms and destroy their greatest threat, the Seraph King Altair.

With so much uncertainty, the one thing she’s sure of is her and Draven's relationship. But it all changes when she receives a shocking prophecy from the God of Death: Her future with Draven may come at an unthinkably bloody price. There’s a different path for her, though, if she wants it. One with peace and safety, and even another chance at love . . . but what else will this choice cost her?

Rune knows her heart, yet her and Draven's devotion to each other might not be enough to change their fate. As war encroaches and figures from their pasts close in, a brutal reckoning is coming for them. When the odds are stacked against you, is love more powerful than destiny?
